Microsoft is reportedly developing its own large language models (LLMs) to reduce its reliance on OpenAI. Anthropic has released a report detailing how its AI products have been misused, while Pattern, an aggregation platform with a revenue of $1.8 billion, has filed for an IPO.
Two studies are highlighted: one from MIT claiming that 95% of corporate AI pilots fail, and another from Stanford's HAI lab suggesting a sharp decline in entry-level programming jobs over the past three years.
