Sept. 30, 2025 | How do we neutralize threats much faster and more efficiently?
🐾 IN TODAY'S WILD
Hey everyone,
Good morning and happy Tuesday!
+ The news of this week 🗞️ “OpenAI and NVIDIA have announced a monumental strategic partnership to deploy at least 10 gigawatts (GW) of NVIDIA’s advanced systems to power OpenAI’s next-generation AI infrastructure. To support this massive build-out, NVIDIA plans to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI, cementing a relationship that is both financial and technical.” Continue reading here.

OpenAI has launched a new agentic shopping system that allows ChatGPT users to make purchases directly from Etsy and Shopify, a move that could reshape the e-commerce landscape. Meanwhile, Anthropic’s Claude has been updated to Sonnet 4.5, offering more precise answers and cleaner code, while also making agents easier to design.
A new study raises concerns that the energy consumption of text-to-video generative AI models could become comparable to the energy usage of an entire country like India. On the security front, researchers have proposed an AI Agent Immune System for cybersecurity that could neutralize threats much faster and more efficiently.
In other tech news, a fan-made, remastered version of Super Mario Bros has been released, and GitHub is taking steps to improve npm security following a recent worm attack. Additionally, California’s governor has signed a new bill, SB53, to establish basic rules for AI systems, and Microsoft has made the integration of Copilot agents into the Office 365 suite official, enabling new AI capabilities in apps like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

OpenAI takes on Google, Amazon with new agentic shopping system
ChatGPT users in the U.S. can now make Etsy and Shopify purchases within conversations, marking a next step toward the future of online shopping — both for consumers and the platforms that control product discovery, recommendation, and payments. In other words, OpenAI might be on the path to reshaping who holds power in e-commerce. [LINK]
Generative AI might end up being worthless — and that could be a good thing In the rush to cash in on the generative artificial intelligence gold rush, one possible outcome of AI’s future rarely gets discussed: what if the technology never works well enough to replace your co-workers, companies fail to use AI well or most AI startups simply fail? Claude’s publisher has made official a new version of its generative reference model (Sonnet 4.5):
- Even more precise and structured answers
- Very “clean” code, even for large applications
- Agents that are ever easier to design [LINK]
